Tiffany-Blue-Teal-Nail-Polish-Swatch

Hello! Hope you're having a great day. Today I have for you I have Rendezvous by Sinful Shine, a lovely green based Tiffany Blue color. The formula on this one wasn't my favorite it went on kinda streaky and thick. This shade is wearable in two coats but on your nail line you may need three coats. Dries to  beautiful shine.

Hot-Pink-Nail-Polish-Swatch

Hey Guys!

For today's nails I swatched VIP from Sinful Shine. VIP is a bright hot pink cream polish, the formula is nice and goes on smooth but it's a bit on the thin side. It is wearable with  2 coats but depending on your nail line you may need three coats. Dries to an awesome shine.

Sally Hansen Velvet Texture in Velveteen Sinful Colors Let it go Nail Polish

Hello Everybody!

I'm back with some more nail art, this mani was done on a whim while I was swatching Velveteen from the Sally Hansen Velvet Texture collection. I've been wanting to try doing a negative space mani and for some reason the texture of the polish totally inspired me.

Okay so I've never really looked into the "official" negative space technique(I'm assuming people use striping tape?) so I just kinda did my own thing. I started with my nails already painted with 2 coats of Velveteen, then I took my clean up brush and some acetone and craved in! I kinda decided on the design as went. Starting on my ring finger, moving to my thumb and finishing with my pinky. I wish I would have done a bit more with the pinky but it was late and my brain went blank. I topped it in certain spots with Let It Go by Sinful Colors, just for a pop of amazing duo chrome color.

I absolutely loved the way it came out, especially with the duo chrome topper. Definitely have to try this look out again. What do you think? How do you feel about the negative space trend?

rosy metallic nail polish

Hey Guys!

For HNH #6, I swatched Sinful Colors Dancing Nails. It is a shimmery rose gold color, that sometimes gave me a bit of a reddish/copper look depending on my lighting. The formula was kinda on the thin side and was opaque in 2 coats. It also slightly frosty so it shows brush strokes pretty bad if your not careful.

This one was random polish pick from my Hubby. I think its been around for a while but it was one that I had never seen, so I was happy to try it out. What do you think of this color?

Velvet Textured Nail Polish

Hey guys!
I'm here to show you all the new polishes I picked up from the new Sally Hansen Velvet Texture collection, this line includes 8 polishes that dry to a matte textured finish.

Velvet Textured Nail Polish

First up is Velour, a pretty bright purple:

Next up is Velveteen, a rich pure black:

One of my favorites is Regal, a amazing vibrant cobalt blue:

My favorite of the set is Lavish,a beautiful rich wine color:

The first couple of times that I applied the Velvet Texture polish it was a complete fail. It took forever to dry and it kept denting everywhere, I was ready to call it quits. I decided to give it another try and finally figured it out how to make it work for me.

I used an extremely thin coat of polish making sure my entire nail was well coated. Once it was completely dry I went over it with another thin second coat to darken the color, making sure to only go over each area once. If you use thin coats the polish drys pretty quick so you have to work fast, I noticed if I went over an area more than once it would mess up the smooth texture and make it look lumpy as it dried.

After I figured out how to work them I was in love! All polishes were opaque in 2 coats and on the bare nail gave me about 3 days of chip free wear. They all had a soft smooth the texture that really did remind me of velvet. My favorites were Regal and Lavish(the names match them perfectly) I loved how vibrant Regal is and how dark and vampy Lavish is. There are 4 more polishes in the collection but unfortunately  my store didn't have them. So once I find them I will definitely snatch them up and let you guys know what I think of them.

What do you think of the velvet texture polish? Did you have a favorite?

Sinful Colors Blue Crushin Dark Teal Turquois Nail Polish

Hey Guys!

For this look I wanted to keep things simple but I also wanted something that would be eye catching.
I decided on a bold base color and went with a gold and white gradient. For my first gradient it didn't come out too bad.

Between Christmas gifts and not being about to leave the store without a new polish(or 5), I have a ton of new polishes to show you guys.

I'll start of with Blue Crushin by Sinful Colors, which was originally apart of the Chill Out Collection from last year but I just picked it up from my local Walgreen's for 99 cent. Blue Crushin is a beautiful dark teal cream polish, it goes on smooth and to my joy it's a one coater!

Hey guys!

I hope you guys had a great holiday and are having a great new year so far. Sorry I've been missing in action, my Husband decided to give us everyone the flu right after Christmas. So my entire house has been shut down and unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the December nail art challenge, but now that Hubby is back at work and my daughter and I are back at 100% I can get back into into more nail post. The plus side to that is I was lucky enough to get a crap ton of nail polish for Christmas and I've also picked up a lot of polish in these first weeks of 2015, so I will be a busy girl swatching and posting new nail art for your viewing pleasure.

I hope you guys stay tuned and if there's anything that you want to see feel free to let me know!

Happy New Year and Update!
